The problem is that so much of the hatred directed towards Obama defies logic. And when there's no logical reason behind something, you start to look at the illogical. And racism is an illogical behavior. Now most racist people I know won't admit to being racist, but their behavior still shows their racism. I'd say nearly half the outwardly conservative people I know display very racist behavior regularly and another small percentage will display subtly racist behavior regularly or occasionally. And I'm sure for a percentage of conservatives that their hatred of Obama has a solid racial tinge to it. But I think most of their illogical vitriol simply comes from the fact that you have to be illogical, crazy, and a bit stupid to be a conservative to begin with. Trying to find logical reasoning in the behavior of conservatives is like hunting for bigfoot.

So the fact that nobody questioned the citizenship of the previous 43 presidents including a candidate (McCain) who wasn't born in the United States nor will they question someone running for President born in Canada (Cruz) and Obama had a birth certificate from Hawaii means all that dark Kenyan Muslim he's one of "the others" bullshit was all a big fat sloppy wet coincidence??
