WHY IS IT ANNOYING WHEN PEOPLE TYPE IN ALL CAPS

WHY IS IT "RUDE" TO TYPE IN ALL CAPS? IT'S JUST ANOTHER WAY OF TYPING. THE WORDS ARE STILL THE SAME THOUGH. I DON'T GET IT

They are harder to read, because they are all the same height. People read by recognizing whole words and the words are easier to recognize with normal capitalization.

IT GIVES THEM A A TINGLY FEELING INSIDE KNOWING THAT THEY ARE REBELLING AGAINST THE NORMS OF FORUM ETIQUETTE BUT FAIL TO REALIZE THAT THEY ARE MAKING THEMSELVES LOOK LIKE UTTER IDIOTS.

IT HAS BEEN SHOWN HERE THAT YOU ONLY HAVE TO MOVE YOUR LITTLE FINGER (PINKY AS IT IS MORE POPULARLY KNOW) 7/16" TO AVOID LOOKING LIKE A TOOL.

PEOPLE WHO TYPE IN ALL CAPS ON A REGULAR BASIS ARE TEH STUPID.

personally, i hate all lower case sentences too -- it makes me think an immature 12-year brat is behind the keyboard.

I actually find all-caps harder to read. I absolutely detest going through old code (esp FORTRAN) where everything was in caps (only god knows why) because reading it gives me a freaking headache.
