Sometimes, it makes my eyes water. People are work go smoke outside, and when they come back, it smell of cigarette yuck.

I can't even imagine how it was when smoking inside was ok in offices.

Why do people have to eat food with lots of garlic in it and then sit in the cubicle next to me smelling to high heaven for the rest of the day? It's disgusting I tell you. Someone should pass a law or something...

People built an immunity to the smell, got used to it, stopped noticing it, and didn't bitch about it.

Say something to them about it.

Aye, if it bothers you THAT much then just tell them to put on some cologne or something. Or you could just hold your breath every time you're near them, maybe then they'll get the idea.

Obviously there's a limit though. If someone came in to work smelling like shit, and I mean like shit shit, they'd be asked to leave, no question. I can't say that the stench of cigarettes bothers me that much, but if a general consensus is reached by the population that it is unacceptable, I guess that will be that.

If someone here stunk of cigarette smoke it would kind of piss me off. We have a "no fragrance" policy because someone who probably retired 20 years ago has a potentially made up disorder called "multiple chemical sensitivity". They have gone completely overboard with it and say not to wear ANY scented products, including deodorant. I on the other hand am actually allergic to cigarette smoke, as in, don't just get a fake headache, I actually start sneezing and coughing in some extreme cases. But I can almost guarantee that no one would listen if I lodged such a complaint, even though I get a few emails a year "reminding" us not to smell good, ever.

If your ancestors could have seen the challenges you have to deal with on a daily basis they would have sterilized themselves to prevent you the pain of suffering through such miseries.

Just kidding. They'd point and laugh at you!

They asked me how I knew,
My true love was true,
I of course replied,
Something here inside,
Cannot be denied.

They said someday you'll find
All who love are blind,
When your heart's on fire,
You must realise,
Smoke gets in your eyes.

So I chaffed them and I gaily laughed,
To think they could doubt my love,
Yet today my love has flown away,
I am without my love.

Now laughing friends deride,
Tears I cannot hide,
So I smile and say,
When a lovely flame dies,
Smoke gets in your eyes.

So I chaffed them and I gaily laughed,
To think they could doubt my love,
Yet today my love has flown away,
I am without my love.

Now laughing friends deride,
Tears I cannot hide,
So I smile and say,
When a lovely flame dies,
Smoke gets in your eyes.
