why is iPod not compatible with PC??

An iPod for the PC will be available next year. I think it is because it is tighly aligned with Apple's iTunes software, and that is not available for the PC either.
 
I saw the thing reviewed on TechTV a couple weeks ago. Sweet little device. They opened it up and took the harddrive out. It was tiny. About half the size of regular notebook drives. Super small and super quiet.

They seemed to think that in the first part of next year, the PC interface will be released. As mentioned before, it's apple and they want to keep it that way for a couple of months before releasing the PC counterpart.
