Why is Hollywood and the Media so Anti American?

In how many movies is the CIA the villain? If it wasn?t for the CIA protecting America would Hollywood even have the freedom to make movies about the CIA?

The question is why is the right-wing media so anti-journalist and hollywood?
If someone was not questioning the status quo we would be a corrupt dictatorship sooner or later thanks to apathy.
 
Which movies are you referring to? It's important because I rarely see ANY spy agency from any countries portrayed as all honorable and heroic. Something always shady going on with them, no matter what countries.

If you wonder why CIA.... it just happened to be the world's biggest, and closest to us, and most famous in the world. I doubt we'll see the spy agency from Belize or India anytime soon.

There are a huge number of brain dead ignoramuses that live in America, particularly in the South, that worship it and vote Republican. These six fingered primitives are anti cultural in every way. That means they don't see any good movies and know more about the fuzz in their navels than what's inside of books. These are the horses asses that give America a bad name. An event for these backwater types would be a Memorial Day parade where the big action is waving an American flag. Knowing nothing and having no real thoughts, advertisers have realized that the way to fleece them is via right winged radio. Often they wander in here, righteous micro-gas-bags of the right, and post the kind of second hand drivel you just did.

They are actually helping the image of the CIA. The more the media demonizes them, the more they can get away with. It's like how people really aren't surprised when terrorist post a video online of them sawing off the head of some truck driver. The public already has an impression of what a terrorist "does" so to speak, and they simply accept it. In my opinion, Hollywood's negative depiction of the CIA and other government agencies can only help them. They should be feared.

its all about freedom of speech. try having a film about chinese special agents. That, and the fact that those films do better in the box office than movies about other countries' special agencies.
