WTH are you downloading is more the question? I find it hard to believe that the DoD would be tracking you for downloading the new Eminem CD or some shit...

Theres something that YOU are doing that you shouldnt be OTHER than downloading movies/music...

Just curious, but how does Peer Guardian KNOW these IPs are from Halliburton? Could they conceivably be from some other large corporation?

Or, they have a very lax IT department and don't care what employees do on the network. Some workers from the SEC got busted for basically downloading porn all day. Of course, that's a news story in the making if the DoD doesn't block torrents at all and employees are able to torrent. Talk about a massive security hole.

Stop trying to download that crane and derrick porn, you'll be ok. Size doesn't matter that much. D:

Weird, I was just going to post a message in the moderator forum asking if anyone had any clue why we had emails from the FBI requesting all the information we had on the OP.

I am guessing that it is just people who are also downloading torrents while using Halliburton computers. Heck, given Halliburton is a major logistics supplier for the US Military, it could be soldiers on bases in Halliburton housing or something, who knows.

That was a division of halliburton called KBR who did that. Now they are two separate entities doing two different things.

Halliburton has a 34.0.0.0/8 network. Perhaps some of those IPs are used by the KBR side of thing. Or perhaps, those oil field workers needed update their porn collection via BT.
