I moved back north into a college town, and 9/10 wearing the collar up? They see this on TV or something - trying to relive the 80s?

hahah thats exactly like a conversation I had yesterday

Personally, I think its dumb

Any of those stupid fads are dumb. The kids that wear stuff like that will be hitting themselves and laughing about it in a few years. Remember extremely flared jeans. A lot of people I knew did that stupid stuff.

repost..

cuz popped collars are pimp. hollar.
but so freakin played out and ugly.

i laugh and then go up to the guy and unpop them.

I have seen people get "popped" in the face for putting other peoples collars down...I happen to agree with that response as well. IMHO, and from my own experiences, people who talk $hit about the guys/girls who pop their collars are often the same punk rock/goth/indie kids who claim/abhor the fact that they are so misunderstood and labeled incorrectly. Maybe it isn't our business if a kids wears a pastel colored shirt with his/her collar up. Maybe it isn't theirs that everyone here spends their friday/sat nights on ATOT...

nuf said

i don't really dress to any scene and i'll admit i automatically pass judgement on those with popped collars - and i'm usually right.
