Not sure if anyone's heard the news yet:
News article
This has me very depressed, as I have come to very frequently rely on Half.com for all of my media needs (books, games, DVDs, CDs, etc.). I can almost always find items, even new, for well under the extravagant and highly inflated retail prices, and even with a clear conscience--I guess I'll have to go back to peer-to-peer filesharing (what a pain). And the same auctions on fleabay are almost always higher (I knew there was reason to be nervous when eBay bought the young vibrant startup).
So while this borders on an off-topic discussion (the end rather than beginning of a very hot ongoing deal site), I'm wondering what others think about this news and whether anyone has a clue why this is happening...
