Why is Chris Benoit on RAW?

Why is Chris Benoit on RAW? Isn't he a Smackdown superstar? Is he just fighting for the title or is he now part of RAW brand?

Who is going to Smackdown then?

Regular RAW character.

Goldberg is still around and will be facing Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania. He may or may not stay with the company after that.

He is in WWE now his contact ran over with WCW so he couldn't join till it ran out.
