The db's usually dont come right next to your ears, they come from the trunk :p but yeah you'd be deaf.

If you want good pc speakers, get a component amp, jack it into your computer, and run some cabling to a pair of studio monitors... you choose the brand and what not, but it can be had for cheap!

Because computer speakers are really not that great. Hook up a pair of HiFi speakers with amp instead.
<---- Playing games with huge JBL TLX8 3 way speakers (oldies but goodies)

Car audio is not that expensive if you compare to good HiFi speakers.

A statement like that regarding the Z560's would lead me to believe that you're not much of an audiophile.

Can your computer speakers handle being jostled around on a bumpy road?

I don't see why not, there's no moving parts.

Can your computer speakers handle blasting in sub-zero tempuratures?

I don't see why not, there's no moving parts.

Can your comptuer speakers handle sounding good while in a car?

That's the question i guess.

No moving parts? You might want to read up on how a speaker works.

So I'm assuming you didn't get the Bose option in that Mazda 6, eh? ;)

bose = marketing success, absolute piece of garbage.

Agreed for home products. However their car audio systems sound good (to me anyway) but then they differ per model. For instance the Bonse system in the FX is amazing while in the Murano or 2k4 Maxima its not that good. The one in the 99 Maxs are better than the ones in the 2000 models.

What he said :D

If speakers are supposed to move air, how do they do so without moving parts?
