What's the attraction to that place?
Don't bake. Grill the wings hot indirect. Basically do Vortex wings on the grill but you don't even need Vortex. Use Weber charcoal baskets in the middle of the grill and spread the wings away from the middle around the grill. Rub the wings with some Old Bay Seasoning before you grill and use some apple or cherry wood for smoke and you'll end up with crispy wings better than fried. Seriously, it's so good it will change how you cook and eat wings for life.yes way over priced for wings. so i make my own (baked, used to fry but its so messy and takes forever then dealing with the used oil) and use their sauces. the blazing is quite hot and is my go to when i want an endorphin rush.
I have only gone there when it's 50% off and I think it's still really overpriced. Yet I see people waiting out the door for them at full price. What's the attraction to that place?
I've been to several and I have never seen a line out the door at their restaurants lol.
you're supposed to collect all your chicken parts, roast them a bit, and make stock.I've never set foot in one...to me, the wing of a chicken is like the back...something to throw in the garbage when you cut a chicken up...the drummies are OK, but it takes way too many of them to get any real meat...so -------->garbage can.
My wife on the other hand thinks the wings are one of the best parts of a chicken...so while I'd prefer to chuck them out...I don't.
have you gone at lunch hour or happy hour? the one by me is packed at those times sometime with a 10-15 minute wait, longer on Fridays for Happy Hour...

OP is a cool dude because he is ragging on a chain restaurant. Why is hard to figure out the attraction? People speak with their wallets and won't be waiting in line if they didn't like it...seems pretty simple to me...
Not really sure what type of answer the OP is looking for, maybe good food and atmosphere??

It's super easy if you know how to use charcoal chimney. The oven is easier but so is using the oven for BBQ. And you don't see people doing that. Flavor isn't remotely comparable. Smoked wings can be better than fried wings. But baked wings can never be better. I've done baked wings and while it's edible, it's not addicting. Fried and smoked wings are both addictive.sounds like more work than frying. the oven works just fine.
it's meh. wings are small, the boneless "wings" are pre-breaded and frozen, the fries suck (wedges are good), and i'm pretty sure the dressings are bottled. it's like a bad chili's with big TVs.
wing stop has way better wings but isn't a sports bar, and I've got plucker's around the corner which is also better wings and sports bar. I've barely been back to bw3 since that opened.
