Why in the world would this woman not be arrested for assault?

When you see UFC fighters slap each other in the ring then it will be ok to arrest folks for assault.

A lot of men give women a wide latitude with regards to physical abuse. Especially something as simple as a slap.

what? i want to call you a idiot but to be honest i have no real clue on what you just said.

Yes this women should be charged with assault. He had a injury though papis seems to be enjoying the attention and making fun of the situation.

It's a fucking slap you moron. When was the last time you seen two fighters in a ring slap each other (though it would be fucking hilarious)? Be a man and get over it.

I'll stop here since I'm not suppose to argue with idiots.

The headline says slap, but that wasn't a slap, that was a punch. Watch the video again.

oh thanks for proving you are a idiot.

a slap is assault. and by the way you idiot you do know it dislocated his jaw right?

you are right. she had a fist. but damn that was a ugly throw. she didn't turn her fist over and connect right. but it was a punch

Can't remember who said it. Think it was Colin Quin. The line goes that if were if it were as socially unacceptable to hit another man as it is to hit a woman, I'd be a dick to everyone.

Obviously men are physically stronger and are more likely to seriously hurt a woman, which is why it's never okay. However that doesn't give women free reign to wail on a man unprovoked.

To me a slap is open hand, across the face, more for shock than damage.

That woman's hit appears close handed, into the face, and sure looks intended to cause damage.

My best friend got his nose bloodied by a stupid drunk bitch at a bar, and he reacted the same way, like it was no big deal because he was assaulted by a girl. I don't get it at all.

There's a lot worse shit than that that's happened at NASCAR races between drivers. I mean shit haven't they had some that swerved at people and others throwing helmets while people drive by and shit? I know they've had fistfights as well. They've had intentional wrecks too. Why don't they bring criminal chargers for all of that?

How often do women get charged for this? If he slapped her he would would already be facing charges and I wouldn't be surprised if he was in jail. Usually when men get slapped they just wave it off but there should be charges against her.

Also when she was walking towards him didn't he think she would try something?

Women get one free because men understand hormones make em crazy sometimes. If she started lining up a left I bet he would have laid her ass out.

It's a civil suit. He can decide whether a crime occurred at all.

IIRC, that depends on the state law. It IS assault battery, although probably not felonious assault battery.

Men are generally reluctant to press charges over something like this, especially when no real damage is done...who the hell wants to go to court to admit that a girl kicked his ass? BUT, if his jaw was dislocated by said punch/slap, it seems appropriate to press charges.

There should not even be charges brought up in a situation like this. If she slapped him, he should have thrown one shot in retaliation and that would be the end of it. If she ends up knocked out, that's her fault.
