I have none of those issues on a slower machine with less RAM. Completely remove the program and re-install.
You machine needs some troubleshooting.
Does Mozilla allow extensions also ? I would switch...Originally posted by: CTho9305

It's more than that. You can install only the Mozilla browser if you don't want the email app, IRC client, calendar, etc. Firefox has a fairly different (read: dumbed down) interface, which I personally don't like. People say it's faster, but I don't notice any speed difference. Any startup time advantages are more than compensated for by QuickLaunch, which only Mozilla has. Many of the people I know who started on Mozilla don't like Firefox. Firefox made a lot of annoying little changes, and they refuse to add preferences (even hidden ones) that let you undo them (such as switching ctrl and alt for the URL bar).
Yes, a lot of the good ones work on both. There are some mozilla-only extensions, and some firefox-only extensions. update.mozilla.org doesn't list too many, but they do exist.Originally posted by: rh71
