Why IE access to CD drive?

Whatever I click IE to browse website I noticed CD Drive was being accessed? I never seen like this before.

There's your answer. In NAV, you should exempt that drive from auto checking. I have never heard of a virus on a CD or DVD.

I don't deal with "they" or home made CDs. And, yes - I do know. I always leave a commercial music CD in the drive - speeds up boot and I know I can exempt that from the auto-check. But, as you can see - it is your choice.

Sadly I have (everyonce in a while some commercial outfit burns a master thats infected). But I agree with you, AP will catch it when written to the harddrive anyway...
