No, most games are too dark and horribly lit.
You called me out as being stupid, let me return the favor.
OptimumSlinky (as quoted, which you agreed with) said they wear sunglasses because of the intensity. Wearing these sunglasses should help with that, right????
So, why aren't the soldiers in the game wearing sunglasses? OH WAIT, THEY ARE! Hmm, maybe the one we're controlling isn't. What a dummy.
Also, to respond to OptimumSlinky himself, are you telling me that it's so bright in real life that you can't see 50 yards in front of you to make out any kind of details in the terrain? If that's the case, perhaps you need perscription Oakleys.
I think the textures and shading and all of that is gorgeous. However, the lighting does kind of have me on the fence. It seems a little unnatural, and against the other realistic stuff, it kind of jumps out to me. Too much bloom? The lighting in Crysis seemed a lot more natural to me.. or at least 'softer'.
I'll take bright over so dusty/smoky you can't see 10 feet.

This is Anandtech, natural light has no place in our lives.
