Why I Hate the USPS

I am missing several packages, and I decide to call the 800 hotline, at the insistence of the marginally literate turd at the counter at my local post office.

I immediately get routed to a supervisor, and explain the situation. He puts me on hold for an eternity, and I get disconnected.

I call back... re-explain the situation, and I get another supervisor. This supervisor tells me that there is nothing she can do about my problems. What are my problems? Glad you asked!

1. My office mail is being delivered to everyone in the building. At least once a week, someone drops a package off or slips misdelivered mail under the door of the suite.

2. Insured mail items (more than $50) being left unaccounted for at other offices.

The supervisor said that all they can do is register complaints... nothing more. I have to fix things at the local level myself.

Why the hell did they give me the 800 number in the first place?

At least you still get mail. My postal delivery person decided that I no longer reside here as of Dec 30th and had all my mail sent back...
