The evil of finance

I want to have all the free time in the world to enjoy life not work all the time just so someone else like the bankers can sit on their arse, take a easy and laugh at us how we are like cattles to them to do as they please. I hate borrowing money too, it lets them profits from you for doing no work. It's what a smart crook would to to steal money the easy way.

Everything in retail store is so expensive, so inflated that I wouldn't buy anything even if I really need it.

Last, I don't care about being rich like the bankers because you cannot no matter what you do. They are the one in control of money, not you, me or anyone who is not associated with them. Just because I have no money doesn't mean I am poor, as long as I have something to eat I care nothing else.

There is something that you cannot buy with money, that's knowledge, freetime, and happiness.
This reminds me of a time when my college buddy, high on acid, had an epiphany: "You know who really holds the power in society? THE FARMERS! Why? Because they grow the food, and we all need food to live! Think about it for a second, everything comes back to eating..."

😉

I admit, I glanced over the page. In my quick skimming of it, I didn't see much of a reference to BUYERS greed. Only to that of lenders and the banking system being the root of all that is evil.

Too many people want things they have no need for. Buy things they can't afford. And buy more than they need. It's miserable fiscal responsibility that screws most people over. Not evil banks and lending institutions.

You don't have to live in high cost of living areas. You don't have to have two brand new cars in the garage. You don't have to have that 65" TV. You don't have to wear designer clothes. If you truely can afford it, fine, more power to you. But if you want it and have to borrow money and pay interest to do it - that's YOUR fault. Not a banks.

Typical liberal socialist remark...

no,just the commentary of an average working stiff who frequently has more month left after the month's money is gone 🙂

If you have no money left after you get paid then your lifestyle is possibly higher than what it should be. Do you budget every dollar at the beginning of the month? HAve you thought about getting a second job in order to pay off your credit cards? Do you have a car payment? Your situation could be different from most, but most people live way above the level that their income can actually support.

I'm in Boston, just costs for basics like housing, medical insurance and food equal more than many people gross a month.Though I am considering taking a second job to earn more.
my lifestyle couldn't get much lower, it's second job time I'm afraid.

This is a general question so please don't take offense. Why do people stay in an area such as Boston if the average basic costs are equal or more than the average take home pay? I know you may have grown up there but moving may be the greatest thing ever. What would be worse? Moving somewhere new where your money has more value and working one job or staying in Boston and having to work twice as hard to have sthe same thing you could get elsewhere?

Once again, just a general question even though I did personalize it a bit. 😉

This is stupid. I take it you've never left the house and realized that people other than bankers are rich.

Please educate yourself, don't be like the rest of crowds who live eat, work, sleep, wants only to be happy and care nothing else.
truth about money

PS: Anyone who needs money to be happy is very insured. knowledge is power, money is not. No one can stop me from learning everything their is to know, can they?

I've got a swimming pool full of money that I swim around in...I'm HAPPY, I suggest you too get a swimming pool filled with money, you are obviously delusional, possibly from not eating...because you have no money. Unless you grow your own food, then you are still lame.

<--- Thinks of Scrooge McDuck and that huge vault of gold coins he dove into. 😀

Trys to contemplate the ability of a person to swim in a pool of coins 😕 As greedy as scrooge mcduck was, it's amazing he was willing to throw away all that potential interest by keeping his money liquid.

No, they aren't. The buying public are the ones with the power to make or break the bankers.

If you buy within your means and pay in cash or pay off loans early, you greatly minimize the wealth of bankers. But, if you constantly overspend yourself all you are doing is lining their pockets.

The only real exception are mortgages. Most people can't round up the savings to buy their first home. But, you can pay it off early and quite easily minimizing your interest paid if you apply that money directly to your loan instead of on other things.

Money is yet one more of those beneficial things on this earth that are frequently abused to evil. Just remember that it is impossible to cheat an honest man. It's only when you want the best of it, more than you deserve or have actually worked for, when you get greedy, that you open yourself to be defrauded by others.

We have a WINAR! I was flipping channels last night and came across some show with p-diddy, and some band he was making and they were putting together traits of a manager that they wanted and all they could say were things like "get my hair done" and "give me money" I'm thinking uhh first off you aren't even a good group, second why don't you go out and earn some of that money instead of asking for handouts because you made it on some stupid tv show.

You have yet to acquire some basic knowledge 😛

I started reading this page, just out of curiosity, and I looked at this and laughed.

As is seen by the above, money is very cheap to make, and whoever does the "creating" of money in a nation can make a tremendous profit! Builders work hard to make a profit of 5% above their cost to build a house.

Auto makers sell their cars for 1% to 2% above the cost of manufacture and it is considered good business. But money "manufacturers" have no limit on their profits, since a few cents will print a $1 bill or a $10,000 bill.

Money manufacturers? You mean the US Mint? They don't just make however much money they want to take home, it's that kind of sh1t that causes inflation. They don't just sit there and think "Man, I only make $xx.xx an hour, I'm gonna print a few bills for myself." This is enough proof for me to conclude that both the webmaster and the OP are morons.

Too much free time (likely in college) + being poor = posts like his

i want my five seconds back from reading your stupid post

If it took you five seconds to read his post, you're likely in a position to sue your local public school district for cheating you out of a good education.

If you know so much, how come you don't know the difference between "their" (plural, third-person possessive) and "there" (meaning "in that place" or used as an interjection)? Or why don't know know how to punctuate your first sentence properly? Or how to use the proper tenses in the second sentence? Or that the definition of "insured" (meaning "is provided for with insurance") is not the same as the definition for insecure? Or how to capitalize the first word in a sentence? Or that "no-one" is hyphenated?

It seems to me that your knowledge is so glaringly lacking in some very basic areas which clearly and strongly indicates that taking any kind of advice from you would be an extremely poor choice on my part.

Also, I'm not about to trust any website that denigrates the NRSV, which is clearly the best translation of the Bible available today; a position which it shares with the NAS.

Then again, you probably won't trust me since I'm a portfolio analyst for an investment company and I'm an insider in this onerous money conspiracy you are so foolishly perpetuating.

He did try to put his money in to investments at one point by making it all electronic, but then the computer ate his money, and it all went downhill from there.
