Why i can only play at 720P ???

i can play SKYRIM MAXED OUT 1080p! over 60 fps!

but i can t play Risen 2 and RISEN 3 over 720p! and i barely have 30-35 fps!!!

You might need to download more RAM, but if you don't have max internet like Shorty suggested, this might be a problem for you.

it s a small 14" laptop but i can run Skyrim maxed out 1080p! and many other games

it s risen2/3 the problem!


edit: i can also run RISEN1 maxed out 1080p!

I see. the reason I ask, is because it sounded like you couldn't even set it. You "can't play at 1080" means it doesn't push enough FPS at 1080 to make it playable.

something about the drivers/that game/just poor optimization. I have no idea.

I think you answered your own question there. You can't play them at 1080p on intel HD2000 graphics either.

Risen 1 = 2009, Skyrim = 2011, Risen 2 = 2012. Looks like your laptop GPU has a 2011 sell-by date

Your mobile GPU aside, I'd venture to guess that Risen 1/2 are not as optimized as well as Skyrim.

Tomb Raider (2013) is one example of a very well-optimized game. I can get surprisingly good performance at decent video quality settings with the gt 740m GPU and 12GB of RAM that came in my laptop.
