He's also been talking to Edwards.
I'd be OK with Richardson.

He'd lose my vote if he chose Edwards. Ambulance chasing scumbag.

Edwards is a light-weight. He couldn't get the job done in 2004 and his candidacy this time was even more lackluster.

I was big on Biden for a while but you have to remember everyone is from the Senate at this point, Obama is going to have to get a governor or someone else that isn't in legislature.

I haven't decided who I'm voting for yet... but yeah. Edwards would be a deal breaker for me too.

I think she'd be the best guarantee against an assaination attempt on Obama. ;)

A good choice for running mate: John Edwards

He is from the South, and that is needed in any Presidential Election, if they want to win.

Umm. I'm from NC where he was senator. I don't think he's all that popular down here. Polling & votes sure don't show it. He's prolly more popular with other states like Ohio with unions and manufacturing jobs.

I'm thinking Richardson at this point. He campaign in his native tounge (Spanish) to really bring out the Hispanic vote. He's also got great foreign policy cred and exec experience.

Former Virginia governor Mark Warner is a name I've head floated out there and who would fit that bill. Besides executive experience, he'd probably put VA solidly in the (D) column (its a tossup now), although don't know how much it would carry over to other southern states.

He does look good but it seems he is vying for the senate, probably the smarter move for the party at this point with John Warner retiring.
