Why have the Forums been acting up since the Upgrade?

GOD! I can't take this! The forums have been really getting me mad lately. It feels like I'm viewing them from a 14kbps modem - and I have a cable modem. Sometimes the pages load, sometimes they don't. What's up with them, and when can we expect them to be back to normal???????
