Hmm... what is the answer to this? (at least in the US). I assume it's illegal, yet with all these ads touting mp3s and burning CDs, you almost get the impression it's not illegal.
Actually, I guess P2P concept isn't illegal, but sharing of copyrighted materials is, so no NEW laws were written addressing Internet and mp3s etc.?

Or they could do something like let you choose which songs you want on a cd and they ship it to you. That way you can customize your cd's with quality songs. At least the company would make some money that way.
