Timely being what exactly? Google bought Youtube on Nov 11th 2006 (finalized on this date at least), which was over 2 years ago. So it took them 2 years to implement a feature Yahoo chat already had?

every week theres a new feature on gmail, gchat, picassa, calendar, etc that is actually USEFUL

every once in a while, microsoft and yahoo updates their product to be more bloated.

I'm not saying they don't put out new products frequently, and usually are fairly solid products.

You are more enthralled about this being some *new* thing than a 8 year old girl at a Hannah Montanna concert in the front row....

So gChat has a feature MSN doesn't.
Meanwhile Live search has a feature Google search doesn't. The ability to actually search for what you type without requiring "'s around every single word.
