Why don't you use your turn signals?

I always use mine. when I am ready to cut someone off, usually, I am in the cutting position > blink once> cut.

one time, I saw this asshat would cut lane, before blink. it was the worst.

What's the licensing system like in the States?

If you can drive 15mph in the street without hitting anything, you can have a license.

Wow what state are you in? That sounds pretty strict, here in California you just have to be able to demonstrate an ability to start the car and sign the papers, or you can just put an X if you're illiterate and that's okay too, they don't discriminate

I always do. Just a habit, and I try to drive as I want others to drive. It pisses me off when people don't use their signal and cut me off. If you're gonna be a dick, at least do it politely.

For people who think it's unnecessary, it doesn't make you racer x or some badass just because you don't turn your signal on. I almost got hit today because some guy wasn't paying attention to my signal at a stop sign and he thought I was going straight... almost hit me then when he saw I had my signal on he apologized. Saying they don't serve a purpose is pretty stupid.

No one knows what bad driving is until you experience driving in a different country. It's like those who complain about the cleanliness of public establishments, like restaurants, only having the experience of eating at middle class restaurants in the US. Once you have sampled a wider range of driving "flavours" you won't complain again🙂

Well, i can honestly say that of all the countries i've been to (most of western europe + USA + Canada) I find Germany and the Netherlands to be the "safest".

Ofcourse I might be biased (since I live in the Neth.)
