I think they are around, or at least I know one was for sale at once. It was basically three 19" 1440x900 monitors put together. I would want more vertical resolution, but otherwise I think something like this would be ideal for AMD Eyefinity / Nvidia Surround (assuming it more or less was three panels in one bezel).

I think most of the manufacturers gave up on the rear projection curved screens with the promise of OLED screens being flexible. I imagine in a few years we will see some really super thin curved oled screens hitting the market.

I was not comparing it to triple monitors. I was just pointing out that while it looks like one big monitor its just smaller monitors stuck together.

Wouldn't CRT work well for this? Or can it not bend?

I'd totally by a CRT Curved big monitor like that if it had a decent resolution

Seriously though, I couldn't stand to have seperators like that; maybe I'd go with a curved screen if they get it without seams. Until then, I'll stick with one big screen TV/Monitor and a secondary 19" non-widescreen for stuff that works better in that aspect.

Because curved monitors is like looking through the bottom of a shot glass. Its dumb and has no practical use.

I'll keep my 3 24s thanks.. that looks like crap.. and is much too thick to sit in the same location my 3 flat panels on a triple rack sit now.

The pic looks like crap if you watch the video it looks good except you can kind of see the edges of the panels but it beat having gaps and bezels.

For reference the actual resolution is terrible for that monitor and it costs like 2k
