(the hunting threads got me thinking about this)

I haven't had rabbit in a while, but I remember it being extremely tasty. Why isn't rabbit meat more popular? I mean, they reproduce like rabbits!!!

Heh. My aunt went to get a rabbit from the Amish once, to keep as a pet. They asked her if she wanted the rabbit dressed. She said, like, in a costume?

Considering there is one about 2 feet away from me right now just staring at me an wiggleing her nose I would have to say that my answer is....."I don't eat pets."

BTW......did something bad happen to Oolong?

Seriously though, would it be wrong, to ummm, fatten up a rabbit and eat it once it's ready. You know, some frying pan action.

Because rabbits frighten easily. If we eat rabbits, we inherit their characteristics.

we took one, grabbed it by the hind legs, took a stick and bashed the back of it's head till blood came out of the artery in it's neck. (made a neat little fountain).

then we snapped the neck further.

then we skinned the sucker, and boiled the meat.

and ate the eyeballs.

it was delicious.
