Why don't they...?

I have wondered why they, any reviewers, compare Apple and P.C. performance ratings. I was directed towards macworld and I have not seen even the slightest comparison between the two. I am wondering about the performances of comparable laptops. The biggest thing I want to know about is Photoshop. I have been interested in a laptop that is light that could do comparable to an AMD Athlon XP 1800+ in Photoshop working. Any help would be appreciated...and I was just wondering why they did not compare the two?

Macintosh benchmarks have always had a favorable slant in terms of Photoshop tests. Honestly if you're going to be using your laptop mostly for art and editing and the such, the G4 laptop is the way to go.

But is a G4 laptop with its heat problem....which starts @ $1299....better than say a Windows laptop of equal price?

her209- I was thinking of mainly Photoshop 7.0.

OH...also...Does Photoshop only come in one CD form? Like since I have a Photoshop 7 disc can I use it for a Mac?
