Why don't they incorporate wireless into MP3 players?

Mini-PCI would work. Then you could totally eliminate the need for a PC to download.

I actually wouldnt mind a slightly bigger/heavier mp3 player as it would be more convenient (much like a PDA). combined with a lith-ion battery and it would be pretty sweet. days of music from a mp3 player the size of a cigarette box.

this goes along with my eternal question, why don't they incorporate AM radio into mp3 players? i want my sports talk radio sometimes...

really something else i would like to see included in mp3 players is an FM transmitter (or even better Hd radio transmitter). So you dont have to buy a new car receiver or buy an adapter to play music in your car.

Yea, the AM antenna has to be pretty big especially compared to the size/weight of some of these devices.

And probably a very low demand for it.

Yup it does.

MS's new mp3 player the "Zune" has wireless capabilities. I'm not sure if even this is enough to take down the IPOD. Even with more features you cant beat simplicity, user friendly, and most importantly a household name.

My gf calls her creative zen an IPOD for crying out loud.
