Becausy sultry women are more sexy.

QFT, it's SUPPOSED to be sexy when they don't smile...

I agree that sometimes not smiling is more sexy, but the expression on the models' faces is hardly that. It makes me think a zombie invasion is imminent. "Sultry+sexy" needs SOME facial expressions...

they don't have to be pretty or sweet or even sexy.... they're number one feature has to be distinctive - you gotta remember them to burn the image of what they're wearing in your little head!

Tooting a gram of blow immediately before walking onstage has a tendency to freeze your face and your brain.

Models are evil drug whores.

You were watching runway models and looking at faces?

I CALL SHENS!

ROTFLMAO!!!

(Actually, very few are even close to pretty or even sexy, IMHO.)

I agree with duroc. Most of the girls you see as runway models arent attractive at all. One walk to a class presents me with more beautiful girls then watching an entire fashion show. How do these people get these positions?

Because the designers want your attention on the clothes, not the models.

A smile causes the viewer's attention to be on the model and not the dress.
