why don't my webpages update?

This is a corporate computer so I have to run IE8 on Win7 64 bit OS. It was upgraded to this setup several months ago. Ever since then I've noticed that some websites don't show the most recent updates when I go to them. For example PCMag website will sometimes show a page from 3 days ago, or 2 months ago, sometimes it shows the current one.

Now it's doing it on Anandtech. For the last 2 days it shows the newest post as the AMD TrustZone story. I was thinking it was strange there had been no updates for 2 days, not like Anandtech. Then I was on another forum that linked to Anand's story on the new MP Pro retina display. I clicked on it and could access it. But still, when I access Anandtech.com on my own it shows the newest story as being AMD TrustZone. Hitting the refresh button doesn't change anything.

Can anyone tell me what's going on?

Unless IT has IE8 locked down, go to Internet Options>General> Browsing History> Settings, and change "Check for newer versions of stored pages" to "Every time I visit the page."

Also try using "CTRL + F5" - That forces IE to load the page from the source reguardless of any version you have cached.
