Example:
I know for a fact that I have ATI Drivers "11.6" installed. However, in my control panel it says the driver is "8.861.0.0" for my ATI card.
This is confusing at best. At worst, it is problematic. If I did not know that this driver was 11.6, but knew that I liked something specific about it and wanted to remember it so I could re-install it in the future, how could I "reverse search" the 11.6 label from my control panel? Since 11.6 is what I would need to use in the future for installs... :-/
Thanks!
