And yes, I know it HAS games, but there are barely any of good quality. Most of these games seem like college projects thrown up there. Sure, you have the regular Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja games that are on just about every platform, but nothing fresh and exciting.

Games like this:

So what's the reason? I played on my friends iPhone a game called Contre Jour(3rd link) and it was amazing, there's nothing close to that quality on the android market. Heck, it was a iPhone 3GS.. so it can't even be hardware limitations.

*Not trying to start a flame war, genuinely curious

1. Angry birds fire fighter edition
2. Angry birds cave edition
3. Not sure wtf that is about.

I did have a space game that looks pretty good on my ASUS transformer. Got it from tegrazone for free.

Oy, not this again. Android has thousands of really good games. You only had to search a little. Gameloft makes some slick ones.

It seems that the difference is usually when it comes to the smaller developer teams/individuals as they may not want to spend the manpower on porting to multiple platforms when iOS is seen as the most lucrative. Companies like GameLoft tend to go port crazy. :p
