Why doesn't anyone put their birthdate in their profile?

I put my birthdate in my profile, but I've never seen anyone else's profile with their birthdate in it. Is this just not shown to anyone or am I the only one with it in his profile?

If I'm just the only one, why? What are you guys afraid of?

Hmm, I thought I put it in there... I went to change my profile and now it says my sig is too long so I'm unable to put it in there.

Ok, fixed. Apparently the forum upgrade hosed my profile. I rewrote it and all is well.

It must be for internal use or something. Anyone ever get a birthday card from AT?
