Why doesn't anyone make a lightsaber....

using those glow sticks. I was watching some kid play with them the other day and I was like..... hey those would make an awesome lightsaber if they were just a bit longer. I'm suprised no one has done this.
 
yeah I've seen that parksabers.com page and I guess those glow but thats using some sort of lamp thing that could break and is quite expensive... this seems to be an easy simple solution

I thought they said their blades were damn near unbreakable?

 
they may be unbreakable.... I'm just suprised that the glow stick industry people haven't picked up on this idea... I mean it just seems like something where you'd make a lot of money.... make about a foot to two foot long glow stick... ad a cheap lightsaber handle to the end of it.... sell it for say 20-30 bucks plus extra glow sticks, put it across the country.... volla little kids would buy them up like crazy

something tells me the amount of glowstick chemicals would make it to expensive. But it is a very good idea
 
hmmm true.... I'm sure that parksabers.com place found a way around it ..... just call them... ummm.... glowsabers... or lightswords 🙂
