So when I d/load full concert and burn them to my CD, they play seamlessly as if it is one life concert, w/ no breaks in between. However, when I put the mp3 file in my mp3 player, there is always a quick 1 or 2 second silence between each track....

anyway to fix that?

Maybe it's because the mp3 player has to load each track, but the CD player takes the tracks, and because you burned with no gaps between tracks, it has no gaps.

Because your mp3 player doesn't support gapless playback.

Wait. Are we talking about a MP3 playing program or an MP3 playing portable audio device?

When listening to MP3s with Winamp you can crossfade the songs..a half-second or so crossfade helps live recordings sound much more fluid between tracks.
Also, I think the Rio Karma supports gapless tracks. I've never tried it on mine though..

I interpreted it as a portable audio device, in which case he's most likely SOL.
