Israel was created from British Palestine following large amounts of Jewish settlement. The argument exists that the entire nation is an invasion.

Hell, you can blame Britain for a lot of the ME...

That being said, I think that Israel has in the past attempted to negotiate in good faith. I can't say the same as the Palestinians. This could be due to a lack of willingness, or a lack of unified leadership, I don't really know.

if you cannot connect the peace between Israel and Palestine DIRECTLY with the war on Terror, then I'm not sure what else to say.
