Why does paypal ask me if i really wanna use my creditcard?

I just noticed this - i was sending some money and switched the funding options to creditcard. Next thing you know theres a page asking me if im sure i wanna do that.
So im wondering why do they care?

WIth their current policy I don't see why they would, they are passing the credit card fees directly to you.

They take fees on all non-personal accounts for receiving money so the payee gets hit with fees regardless. With credit card, they net less in fees so it's in their best interest to get you using non-cc sources. It's an odd policy but it works for them.

Because you were born in the Czech Republic and they think anyone form Eastern Europe with a credit card is trying to defraud them ;)

Also, when people use their bank account to pay they can't dispute the charge if they never get the item, etc. They have to use PayPal's dispute system. When people use the credit card they can dispute the payment.
