Why does my subwoofer have hair balls in it?

This is not a joke! Its an altec lansing woofer (Its not a box woofer if thats what your thinking) and i can see little hair balls rolling around through grate on the front. Im just thinking how the hell they got in there. They're perfectly round lying on top of the speaker..... I dont have a cat.

Might just be dust build up... you might just have to do some sweeping.. no big deal I don't think it'd affect the sound or anything..

unless hair balls start flying all over your room once the woofer punches out some base.

i cant even get to the little buggers, they're alot bigger than the grate openings. i cant even crack the thing open. its just wierd

The woofer has to suck air in to actually produce bass. Prolly sucked some in or something....

i dont think there was any hairballs to be sucked it in, but it probably just kept sucking particles of hair and dust and just tumbled around till it all accumulated.

selling it on ebay is another option, doubt ill get much tho.
