Why does my new PC randomly reboot after a while?

The past couple of days it seems to have rebooted while I was at work.

Its a P5B deluxe, e6600, and a Corsair 520w. I've checked the voltages from the psu (with PC Probe and a voltmeter) and they are fine.

Any ideas?

did you test your PSU under load? Is your system OCed? Is it overheating? More details... RAM, HSF, temp readings

anything mentioned in the event viewer, may be we can tell from. why not disable automatic restart so you can read if there is a BSOD.

I've checked under load with PC Probe. It reboots when idle though.

System has been at stock speeds lately. Not overheating at all. Even with Orthos it doesn't go over 50C.

RAM is G. Skill Micron D9, Tuniq Tower, at stock it idles around 22C.

Where is the event viewer? And how do I disable restarts?

Nevermind, I found them.

Run memtest - bad ram causes random reboot sometimes
Power supply - most common suspect, you already tested, unstable power voltage can cause reboot
Check for proper grounding of the motherboard

Good advice. Post your BSOD message if/when you get the next one. Also, run something like SuperPI 32M or run Prime95's torture test and/or loop a 3DMark benchmark of your choosing. See if you can duplicate the system instability.

Did you already state your PSU manufacturer and model? If not, do that. Also, check your BIOS PC Health page and document any unusual dips in the rails or on the VCore, VDIMM or chipset.
