Hi Skydiver:

Thank you indeed. Even I followed your suggestion, but still same old story.

I can only keep Playing it with Patient.

Wait until Angel comes.

Best Regards.
Good Luck.

I have the same problem. I have a T-Bird 750@1G on a KT7 Raid. It runs rock solid @1.1G except for this issue. I have to pull the plug on the power supply to get it to post after exiting the bios setup and after telling windows to shut down. Telling windows to restart works fine. When I set the multiplier back to 7.5 x 100 (750 mhz) it works fine all around even with the core still at 1.85V. Stepping the multiplier up one step at a time I was able to get it to 1G with no problems but when I increase the multiplier to 10.5 the problem returns.

I tried all your suggested settings but it didn't fix the problem. (really had high hopes too) Oh well, back to the drawing board.

I guess I'll just have to be satisfied with 1G for now but it really is a shame since it runs so well at 1.1G except for the boot problem. I just know it has to be something simple.

If anyone gets this figured out please let us know. Best of luck one and all.

My system info is:
Win 98SE
KT7Raid
750 T-Bird@1G (blue)
alpha Pal6035 cooler
2 IBM ATA-100 15G drives (Raid)
256M Mushkin rev.2@cas 2
Soundblaster Live Platinum
Pioneer 105s CD-Rom/DVD
crappy 2M S3 Trio PCI Video (soon to be replaced with 64M Radeon from Hawk. Maybe today)
400 watt Leadtech power supply
Addrtonics Case

My kt7 ran without any problems the first time with all my hardware installed. My PS is only 200W but it runs fine (duron 600@950 1,8V, geeforce, sb live, scsi, 3xhd). Try solving the problem the old fashion way -> install the cards and drives one at a time and have a look at

GOOD LUCK!

Ive had this problem with all my abit boards. As a matter of fact, I had the problem today. It was fixed by cleaning my duron chip off, and retracing the L1 bridges. On my BP6 and VT6X4, I had to occasionaly press the power button 2 times in a row for it to boot.
