I am on my college's network(Drexel), and on P2P applications no one can upload from me. This happens on Kazaa, Morpheous, and WinMX. It will send them like 128K or 256K, and then just stop. It doesn't really affect me so much...but I feel bad cuz I've got like over 2000 songs shared and I have like 200 people a day that try to download from me and fail.

Can you download files without a problem?

it could be some form of server protection....like the firewall that prevents incoming traffic.

Yea, downloading works just fine, maximum speed I've had so far is 4.8MB/sec :D I was just curious about the uploads.

isnt that how they work. people get bits and bits off of each other. other users only download a part of a file from you. on ocassion, they'l take the whole file, but usually its only bits and bits from a lot of different users.
