Lately, every week I have to reset the clock on my computer to show the correct time. Just wondering what's wrong and how I can fix it. Thanks.

weird. Mine has been fast for about the past month and I have to slow it down. Starts off correct time and about two days later is 4-7 minutes fast. Weird ... I hope someone answers this.

I think it is because the AC power from your power company isn't exactly 60Hz.

There are programs that automatically synchronize your computer's time with online clocks. You can find one called Dimension 4 here.

I read somewhere that there is an issue with Norton Antivirus and certain motherboards, that causes this problem.

my sister with a compaq computer just doesn't seem to accept my changing of the time of the clock. I set it right and then i watch i every now and then and see it turn itself back two hours! Damn compaq and their stupid computers.

Sounds like the CMOS battery. Try replacing it with a new one and see if it stops the problem.
