Why does Mandrake 9 give a installation error on every package ?

I'm trying to install Mandrake 9 and it seem like every package has an installation error

I don't know if its the iso or what.. the md5 checksum was ok, and I burned it twice to be sure (once at half speed)

I just installed Red Hat 8 last night and it was ok.

I deleted the partitions and formated before trying to install Mandrake


I've had Mandrake 8 on my system before, and it ran fine...


Dont know whether to DL Mandrake 9 again or what.




 
You need to be a tad bit more specific about the errors you're getting.

or just wait for the problem to be solved in your other thread in Operating Systems...
 
I trid installing it tonight too.. it won't detect my promise fasttrak 100 card at all..
any person can help me out?
i am a noob in linux.

I'm going to try to initialize my raid array and set it up with Linux, as soon as I can back up my data. Sadly I have yet to find some good docs on how to setup promise raid drivers...

I went to that site as well.. but that driver is only for Red Hat which I installed and it works... But I tried using the same things for Mandrake it doesn't work. Maybe I am doing it wrong??? 😕
