Well, that explains why an ex of mine sent me an invite from LinkedIn.And it's the sneaky way in which they do it is worse. You think you're entering your LinkedIn password and before you know it, all your contacts are imported from Gmail.

If I entered my LinkedIn password (if I had a LinkedIn), how would that get them access to my Gmail? That doesn't make any sense at all.
I think most people have a master password for both?
That would be a stupid thing to do.
Stupid, but convenient. Ideally you should use a separate password for every site/service, but there's no way you'd be able to remember them all. Most probably have one or two passwords that they use for everything.
