Why does leftover spaghetti always taste better?

I prefer to eat spaghetti when the noodles + sauce was cooked and mixed together one day, refrigerated over night, and then reheated the next day.
 
I prefer to cook meat sauce the day before plan on serving it ... sausage & peppers too ... tastes MUCH better the second day for whatever reason & I've learned just to go with the flow! 😀

Btw mixing sauce with pasta the night before is a serious no-go in my book!
