Matthew 5:45
so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

Posting in a sportage troll thread. :)

god hates fucking conservatives that's why.

God's a liberal. think about it... God had the choice to either be conservative or liberal with his ability to create, creation.

if he'd been conservative, we'd not exist.. instead he was liberal with is ability, hence, creation.

i'm liberal... i live right in the middle of the flood zone... miraculously, all of our stuff survived, our neighbors lost everything, on both sides.

still looking like this in liberal land :)

You may want to tell God his aim was slightly off as the areas in Houston that flooded were where minorities live. Shortly he's going to flood the "other" side of the tracks in Wharton as well.

If by poor and white you also mean the fact many Mexicans consider themselves white, then yes. Mexicans here tend to vote more conservative, I guess due to their conservative religious roots. Our new GOP governor, Rick Perry 2.0, spammed the airwaves relentlessly with ads that were aimed squarely at the Mexican demographic, by featuring his wife's Mexican mother, who was talking about all the wonderful things she and Jesus thought of him. And it was really heartfelt, I'm sure. But it was done in such a smarmy, greasily political way that actually said nothing at all about the candidates viewpoints. Frankly, I'm surprised the ad helped him as much as it did to get elected.

Maybe it is not God, but the Devil and maybe he moved to Baltimore and is working in that area the hardest. It has become like the OK corral in Baltimore. Mayor and prosecutor arrested and charged the Police, so the Police are not going near black neighborhoods. Be careful what you wish for.

So what does it mean when California has no water, burning, mudslides and earthquakes?

Please tell us oh wise one!

You must've missed this in the original post
Then we had California, not to be left out.
It took God awhile, but they too suffered from their collective state banning of marriage equality back in 2008.
So God gave them fire, smoke, quakes, great droughts, and in his great wisdom knowing what was to come God also gave the State Arnold Schwarzenegger.
You can't deny that God was heavenly pissed with California.

California did afterall pass an anti gay marriage law by vote, it took courts declaring it unconstitutional (which is very much is) in order to make it legal.

God can't hate because God is greater than anybody can imagine and one can easily imagine the evils of hate. A God of hate is irreconcilable to folk who are spiritually developed.

I find that substituting one false and nonexistent god (insert your nonexistent god of your made up faith here) with the naive faith and belief that politicians and big government are your saviors is no better in the end than the aforementioned. It's kind of like a heroin addict who switches up his/her addiction away from heroin onto something else in life and than falsely believes they have beat their addiction instead of realizing they just transferred it onto another aspect or drug in their life.

Tornadoes, floods, people washed away, neighborhoods leveled.
Seems all the horror is only happening in states that have high anti-gay citizenship.
Texas, Oklahoma, hell on earth year after year.

Maybe God is trying to tell these States something?
Like, if God did indeed create all, and that included gay people, then just maybe it is Gods wrath on those that offend God by cursing what God has created, including the gay folks.

Yes instead of coming down and telling humanity what he wants on an internationally distributed media source, he chooses to torment wide swathes of unrelated people for no discernible reason. If you are arguing for God being the greatest evil in the universe, that was a great start. Why do we ASSUME God is good? Given what life is like on this shit hill we call earth, I see no evidence of a good God. I see evidence of a random God who doesn't give a shit about any of us. But if you are going to argue for an evil God, I will not contest that.

Eh, even we in the "gay hating" states do have a self-directed sense of schadenfreude over those types of claims. Blaming hurricanes on "gay issues" is just as bad science as it is theology. As anyone who has gone through several hurricanes knows, the proper response is to put up plywood, secure objects in your lawn, ensure your chainsaw is in working order, and stock up on food, gasoline, and beer (though not in that order). Passing legislation about "the gays" is nowhere on there, and is just about as ridiculous as it sounds.

...but seriously, we could use some help on the "love thy neighbor" part, natural disasters aside.
