I think it was when they did that whole AMD vs. Intel stability test; that whole thing was FUBARed. I don't remember if it was a test of the dual core systems or whatever, but I do remember that the methods used for reporting were spotty, the Intel system went through a couple motherboards, something went wrong with the AMD system a couple times....
That really highlighted it for me. That was a disaster the likes of which I had never seen before, although I haven't been around on the net that much.
