Why does every culture have a "sausage-like" food?

Did you ever noticed that practically every culture has a saussage shaped food item?

The US has the hot dog.
Germany has the knockwaust
Italians has the Italian saussage.
There is the Polish saussage.

China also has a Chinese saussage. It usually has little pockets of fat in it.

Here's my theory. Every culture has been dominated by men. Some of these men were perverted and invented saussage shaped food items so that girls will get used to the idea of having something of that shape in their mouths. :Q

Here's my theory. Every culture has been dominated by men. Men like good food. They've found sausage type foods are good, so every culture has them.

I wonder why you are lying awake at night pondering phallic-shaped food and creathing oral sex related sausage theories.

The answer is really quite simple. It is only recently that we have had enough food to waste. Back when food was more scarce you had to use everything. So they took the meat cuttings and put them in animal guts and passed them off as sausage

Since sausage is natures way of rewarding god's favorite creatures (humans), it makes sense that every culture figured out a way to make such good food.

yeah and who thought up those long curled polish kilbasa things. Man they look gross.(disclaimer: everything looks gross to me right now cause I'm preggers, especially fallic shaped food;))

As far as I know, there is no typical sausage-type food in my country. Perhaps the women are happy with the real thing:Q;)

Every culture? Jews don't eat pork, so I guess the closest thing would be a knish...stuffed intestine.

LOL@TRP, I am always of that old saying ' Its not the size of the rise that satisfies but the throb of...... ' while you get the idea.

That was invented by those non-sausage eaters!

Damn, I love Italian sausage (especially hot) with peppers and onions and Polish kielbasa with sauerkraut and rye bread with Koshkiusko (whatever) mustard. Throw a couple of pierogies on the plate and SHAZAM, happy belly time.
