Why does Epox have tons of different BIOS' in their FTP, but not on the "official page?"

Everyone's telling me to flash the bios on my 8RDA+ with the latest 7 May 2003 bios.

It can be found on Epox' FTP server. But yet on their Official Support page, the latest bios listed is the one I'm currently using; 29 Jan 2003. WUWT?

i found the may 7 bios on www.epox.org and www.epox.com.

Just a question: Why do you have problems getting it off of their FTP server but not from their web server? They could very well be the exact same server running both an FTP and Web server, or at least I could almost bet that they are in the same facility or, at the least, the same network.

Also, going over the web you are actually using FTP for downloading and viewing web pages, graphics, downloading programs, etc., because that's the protocol that is most widely used to transfer the files to your local PC and then run them (in the case of web pages). So you're actually doing the same thing as if you were "downloading from their FTP server"...

Sorry, was just curious why one seemed ok and the other didn't?

I guess I was just confused. It happens when you get old. I'm OK now though.
