I find that for me Linux is a better tool for the internet I can surf and do things without worry.
I don't need to run virus protection.
I do a virus scan every couple months. Just out of habit from windows.
And have been running Linux virus free for over a year.
Try doing that with windows.
I also love the multiple desktops I can run in Linux. I can't live without them anymore.

Windows is a better tool for gaming hands down.
But for me ,why play games on a 19 " LCD screen when you can be playing a game on XBox on a 50inch Plasma screen or bigger.

Many of those plasma screens also support PC inputs, and have native resolutions of 1360x768. So why not just hook up a PC, and play CS: S maxed out on a 50" plasma? :p

Because of the freedom it offers. (When I'm not using it, it's because it isn't convenient enough, e.g., no itunes or games).

It's secure and I feel secure using it. Everything can be just how I like it, and I can still run the Windows apps I need by using a VM.
