Why do you shop at wal-mart?

You know they suck right? using mostly foreign employee, rarely do I see Americans employed in their store... because they only accept lower pay, their more likely to hire an inexperienced foreigner then someone who is an expert at customer service or much more knowledgeable. Most of them just kept silence, no thank you after purchase. Never feel like I am appreciated, so screw them.

I'd rather just shop elsewhere even if I have to drive a few more miles or spend a little more. Starting to day, I will shop elsewhere and encourage all my relative and friends to do the same. What happen to buy Americans? We're selling outselves out to complete stranger everyday the more we buy and save, the evil corporation does not care about us at all.
BTW, did you know that most of them that shop their are foreigner and people who are employed by wally? lmao... makes perfect sense right?

Walmart can go to hell 90% of the time.

But sometimes you just can't find what you need at another store in this small town. 🙁

Its the only non grocery store around here... and things are simply cheaper.

EB Games annoys me too, but I still shop there 🙁

being open 24 hours is nice. going grocery shopping at 3 am is fun!

Heres my biggest gripe though...checkout takes FOREVER! They usually only have a few lines open, no matter how packed the store is, i've waited in line for like, a half hour before. The cashiers suck. All the staff at the store sucks. People that use the self checkout are morons (leave it open for the ppl that know how to use it..) One guy had a widescreen projection tv and tried to take it thru self checkout, WTF?

I've never bought Americans myself, but I'd imagine they are more expensive than people from third-world countries. Being harder to harvest and all.

One word: PRICE.

For example, I tried to buy a football jersey for Halloween last week. Wal Mart price: $20. Other places (about 10 of them): at least $40 or more. Now don't get me wrong, I am not a big fan of Wal Mart but $20 bucks saving = 1 week of gas for my SUV.

are you ignorant? Wal-Mart is the LARGEST civilian employer in the United states, 1 of every 200 workers work for Wal-Mart

i do not understand the Wal-Mart haters , it boggles my mind

I don't, with the exception of 2 products that I buy monthly: Guinea Pig Food and small animal bedding. One of my children has 4 guinea pigs and they cost about $40 per month in supplies. As they eventually die off from old age, I will no longer need to visit MalWart.

your probably not poor enough, robcur, to know that some people can only afford to shop at wal-mart...

edit: oh ya, and about the only thing american now a days is produce... due to our high manufacturing enviroment standards everything is offshored to poor countrys who dont give a fcuk if working conditions are slave-like.

The only "foreigner" working at my Sams club is from Puerto Rico and is here for Managment training. He was transferred out here by Walmart. The rest of the people in my club are "Americans".

Walmart is the 2nd largest employer in the US. 2nd only to the US govt.

My club sells local chip brands, local produce, local candy, local hot dogs and lunchmeat, local water and ice brands... donates all unsold fresh bakery goods to the local shelters... I really dont see where youre coming from.

I generally don't go there too often now. There are no super Walmarts around here. When I shopped there frequently, I went to a super Walmart to buy groceries.

Nowadays I'll think damn hard if there is a place I can get the same thing for about the same price before I head to Walmart. Too many people (though most of them are afraid of the new self-checkout lines) so checking out is much better than before.
